FINGERSTYLE

It is hard to precisely define what fingerstyle guitar is. There are indeed many subcategories. However, thanks to the formulas stated by the fingerstyle artists themselves, and in particular thanks to that one of Tommy Emmanuel: “With the acoustic, I am the band”, it is possible to provide the following definition: Modern fingerstyle guitarists embody a "one man band", playing bass, percussion, harmony and melody simultaneously on an acoustic guitar.

Taking part in the fingerstyle class at the MIGS Masters Camps means learning to master these techniques with some of today's greatest artists in the genre.

You'll be able to play a wide range of musical styles, from blues to fingerpicking to percussive fingerstyle. Ultimately, fingerstyle is an invitation to explore the depth of the guitar, create original compositions and tell unique musical stories.

For music lovers looking for an engaging and artistic experience, fingerstyle is a fascinating avenue to explore at the MIGS Masters Camps!
