SEBASTIEN TIBACKX

Sébastien Tibackx, a bass prodigy, has dazzled audiences from the age of 12. He made is debut as a pianist before dedicate his passion to the bass guitar at 15.

When he was 20 he became a bass guitar and harmony teacher at the reputable Jazz School, JUPO, where he taught alongside "bop" musicians from the cruise ship "Le France." His remarkable technique allows him to simulate bass, guitar, drums, and melody simultaneously, captivating large audiences.

Ranked among « the top 10 bassists you should know » by Bear Bass TV, Sébastien Tibackx has collaborated on over 2000 concerts, studio sessions, showcases, and masterclasses with renowned artists such as Serge Herdrix (Little Bob), Angeline Annonier (Al Jarreau), Anneke Van Giersbergen (The Gathering), Jim Lopez, Jean Marie Ecay (Dee Dee Bridgewater), Hadrien Feraud (Chick Corea / Frank Gambale), Étienne M'Bappe (John McLaughlin), Romain Labaye (Scott Henderson), David Jacob (Trust), Franck Hermanny (Adagio), Seb Chouard (Mylène Farmer / Sinclair), Pascal Mulot, Linley Marth (Joe Zawinul), Jean Fontanille, Myyx Remix (Teddy Swims, One Republic, Master KG, Dua Lipa, Adele).

He is currently working on his first solo album from which the first track in collaboration with Gérald Toto is available on streaming platforms and has already appealed to listeners in 56 countries.
